Duration February 2022- January 2024
The project will train an emerging professional figure, that of neighbourhood facilitator, to support fragile adults in becoming aware of their territorial resources and activating processes of participation and civic engagement.
The Edu-City partnership will develop a specific methodology based on three key-needs identified by the project:
- to valorise place-based knowledge and competences of fragile adults living in deprived urban contexts;
- to involve in participatory bottom-up processes fragile adults from five urban contexts;
- to train specialised professional figures that work in the neighbourhood valorising local resources and promoting social engagement;
Direct targets of the project are 20 professionals trained by the project as facilitators and 50 adults that will be involved in five local labs coordinated by the trained professionals to develop participatory bottom-up processes.
